The Heritage Tour

On 22 April 2001, a group of our members shared a tremendously fulfilling and immensely fascinating experience: we boarded a bus and visited several of the sites that the Atlanta First Christian Church has called home over the course of our 150-year history. Please ride along with us as we go back to almost 1900.

Below are a selection of thumbnail photos of the trip; please click on any of the thumbnails to see a full-screen image. In commemoration of our Triple Jubilee, I will be posting additional photos from our historical archives as they become available.

It was most gratifying to see that our "old house" is being very well used
by a vibrant Christian community. We would like to express our thanks and
appreciation to the Atlanta Metropolitan Cathedral for being such gracious hosts.

We were a lot younger last time we did this...

Some fond memories, then back to the bus
